Dieses 14.500 m\u00b3 gro\u00dfe Becken sammelt bei \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfigen Regenf\u00e4llen vor\u00fcbergehend verunreinigtes Abwasser. Damit h\u00f6ren die zahlreichen Kanal\u00fcberflutungen an der Rode Beek der Vergangenheit an. Ein zus\u00e4tzlicher Vorteil ist, dass sich die Wasserqualit\u00e4t im Bach dadurch deutlich verbessert. F\u00fcr Brunssum ist das Becken eines der gr\u00f6\u00dften zivilen Projekte, das jemals innerhalb der Gemeindegrenzen realisiert wurde.<\/p>\n<p>Der Grund f\u00fcr den Bau des Beckens war die nicht ausreichende Kapazit\u00e4t des bestehenden Abwassersystems. Jedes Mal, wenn es heftige Regenf\u00e4lle gab, f\u00fcllte sich die Kanalisation schnell, und das \u00fcbersch\u00fcssige Regenwasser, einschlie\u00dflich des Abwassers, wurde in die Rode Beek abgeleitet. Daher lie\u00df die Qualit\u00e4t des Flusswassers sehr zu w\u00fcnschen \u00fcbrig. Mit dem Bau des Speicherabsetzbeckens konnte der Schmutzwasserabfluss infolge von Kanal\u00fcberl\u00e4ufen um mindestens 90% reduziert werden.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n\n<style ><p>Die Sanierung der Rode Beek in Brunssum und Schinveld profitierte optimal vom Bau des Beckens: Die Wasserqualit\u00e4t verbesserte sich und damit die Chancen f\u00fcr Flora und Fauna.<\/p>\n<p>Van Boekel war f\u00fcr die Realisierung des Speicherabsetzbeckens verantwortlich. Dabei wurde ein offenes Becken realisiert, das in das Werk gesch\u00fcttet wurde. Aufgrund der Gr\u00f6\u00dfe der Deponie war eine gute logistische Organisation ein Muss. Dank sinnvoller Absprachen mit den beteiligten Lieferanten lief alles gut. Van Boekel hat auch das gesamte Au\u00dfengel\u00e4nde, den Bau einer Reihe von (Pump-)Geb\u00e4uden und den Anschluss des Absetzbeckens an das bestehende Kanalisationssystem erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Mit dem Bau des Speicherabsetzbeckens hat die Gemeinde Brunssum ein zuverl\u00e4ssiges Abwassersystem erhalten.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" Bei diesem Kurswechsel arbeiteten unsere Organisation und unsere Kollegen hart daran, dass dies ein Erfolg wird, wobei das Hauptaugenmerk auf den externen Aspekten lag.
