Rhineland – Four Polder Pumping Stations
Work
The “Four Polder Pumping Stations (4PPS)” project involves four polder pumping stations managed by the Rijnland Water Board. The project comprises construction and civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering work and consists largely of the design, demolition, delivery, construction, installation and commissioning of four polder pumping stations.
Hellegatspolder, Warmond:
The Hellegatspolder pumping station consists of a single screw pump and a brick superstructure, situated at a regional floodgate. The current pumping station is due to be replaced by a new polder pumping station at the same location, which is to have a design capacity of 8.5m3/min.
