Bonaire Air Traffic Control Tower
Van Boekel Bouw & Infra International has built a new air traffic control tower at Bonaire’s international airport, replacing the old tower, which no longer met safety standards and international aviation requirements.
This new building is part of a 15-year master plan to expand and modernise Bonaire’s airport. The contract consisted of the construction of a new-build air traffic control tower, including all technical systems and installations, roads, the modification of airport fences and entrance gates, new platform lighting for the apron, the 1200 metres of cable and pipes between the existing terminal and the new tower, the demolition of the existing tower and coordination with third parties.
